The manga series originated from a one-shot comic that Arakawa entered in a competition he based the series on it and drew inspiration from similar works, such as Beck and Nodame Cantabile. The story follows a young pianist named Kо̄sei Arima, who loses the ability to hear the piano after his mother's death and his experiences after he meets violinist Kaori Miyazono. The manga was serialized in Kodansha's shōnen manga (manga aimed at teenage boys) magazine Monthly Shōnen Magazine from April 2011 to May 2015. The point is in my opinion if you are not a person who cries a lot, the things that can touch your fears and your lost dreams of a heart are the ones you cry to.Your Lie in April ( Japanese: 四月は君の嘘, Hepburn: Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso) is a Japanese romantic drama manga series that was written and illustrated by Naoshi Arakawa, and has been adapted into an anime television series and multiple stage productions. Didn't cry on Silent voice or any other sad anime. But these two (and kamisama kiss kako-hen) just opened up the weakest spot of my heart. I'm usually not a person who cries, rarely in real life situations and while watching movies. Just cause you didn't cry on something everyone else did doesn't mean that your emotions are wrong. If you don't cry, that's okay, the feeling you get might be dissapointment of not finding connection. These feelings are very rarely in the surface and these two movies just pushed it on the surface. There's this feeling of hopeless search for something in my life that I'm missing and fear of never finding it. My opinion is and I can say it only for myseld, these two movies made me remember that I also have a feeling of something missing. Didn't know plots of the movies, I was taken by surprise.

Also the movie Into the forest of fireflies' light. I cried my soul out since we found out comet destroyed the town and Mitsuha died till the end. Some characters will take your heart in a second unlike others. Look, some stories will get to you more then others. I find myself 99.99% of the time (on anime) crying from the litteral narrative over the philosophical aspect of it and in these movies it's all thanks to the characters, they are the emotion of the litteral narrative and are very strong. So you have not been emotionally invested in either the litteral story or in the reality it resembles (IMO there's nothing you can do about it), I have no idea why but that's what I think. That's why you can cry from a non drama scene, a music with no lyrics or a standstill image, it's your investment and interpretation of them that dictate how and what you feel. It's a subconscious process that you can't induce ( like cry on demand), but you can interfere with it (like force yourself to stop crying) it's strange. Relatability ( empathy towards something that resembles yourself, your experiences and world perspective) isn't the end all be all, you have so much control over your feelings towards the philosophical and literall narrative, what really hits is your interest in the character and (or) the subject, they are different aspects that induce the same feelings, in the litteral are the characters and the world portrayed while in the philosophical is the reality it references. I really wanna cry If I don't cry I doesn't feel satisfied, like there is some strange feeling. I am really like main character in "Silent Voice" and "Anohana" but still.

It always feel likes I am missing something I watch it with full concentration and it is not the case either that I can't relate. "Your name" is not sad story but still and One of the most sad series "Your lie in April" I didn't cry it's not like I am holding back Idk Why but I cried in "Your Name" but I didn't cry in "Your lie in April", "Anohana", "A Silent Voice".
